About Me & My Business

After many years learning needlework and upholstery, with the addition of how to design and stage a room, I founded Pocklington Soft Furnishings back in 2006. Word of mouth recommendations have generated expansion of the business. This has developed naturally into Pocklington Interiors as I have taken on more and more ‘whole house’ and commercial schemes supplying everything from flooring to ceiling lights and everything in between.

I am a creative, ambitious and hard-working individual with the ability to put my clients at ease and create a partnership to turn their ideas into a cohesive scheme. My devotion to my projects goes way beyond office hours with many consultations taking place at times that best suit the busy lifestyles of my clients. I am a perfectionist, from hand stitching Swarovski crystals onto blinds to designing and fitting bespoke curtains, you will find me personally taking care of your project. When required, I have additional talented seamstresses and trades to get large orders completed on time.

I look for different, fresh and innovative ways to generate new business to keep me ahead of my competition.

I don’t operate from retail premises, which enables me to keep my overheads low and my pricing competitive. I strive to ensure that my quotations become orders and repeat business is guaranteed from recommendation of the high standards I provide. My clients trust me to select and supply everything from floor coverings, paint and wall coverings, sofas, blinds, curtains to accessories and lighting, whilst keeping within their desired budget.

I mix styles and textures to make each design truly stunning and tailored to each client, creating a home to reflect their personality that they will feel comfortable in and proud of.

I have earned great respect from my commercial clients who trust me to carry out refurbishments of multiple sites to the same high standards. These include Lincolnshire Police, boutique hotels, builders throughout Lincolnshire, as well as national care home groups.

As well as offering FREE consultations and fitting, my clients can stay in contact via Facebook and Skype to be involved at every stage of the project.

I am very proud of my business and my clients are at the heart of everything I do.
